On 9th of May, hundreds of visitors joined the Innovation and Digitalisation Tent at the European Village in Chișinău, supported by EU4Innovation East as part of Europe Day 2026 celebrations in the Republic of Moldova. Together with ecosystem partners — Moldova Innovation Technology Park, Technovator, XY Partners, Clasa Viitorului, YEP Moldova, Startup Moldova, Dreamups, as well as startups Sigmoid and DeepGuard — the initiative showcased how innovation and entrepreneurship are shaping Moldova’s digital future.
The largest edition of Startup Moldova Summit, co-financed by EU4Innovation East, brought together 2,000 participants in Chișinău, including over 60 speakers, 150 startups and investors from Moldova and abroad. Beyond the intense agenda, this year’s edition marked a step forward for the startup ecosystem by enabling new partnerships and signed memorandums that will expand access to investments, acceleration programs, international expertise, and European markets.
