Long before Argus AI began appearing on international stages, its founders were confronting one of the most painful realities of modern healthcare: for many patients, being told that a condition is “inoperable” does not mean there is no solution — it means that the right expertise or tools are missing. In such cases, patients are often left without hope, despite the fact that another surgeon, equipped with the right technology, could successfully operate and restore a normal life. Founded in Moldova in 2024, Argus AI was created to change this reality by enabling surgeons to take on complex, high-risk procedures that would otherwise remain impossible, using Mixed Reality (XR) and Artificial Intelligence.
From 12 to 14 December, Starship Bootcamp took place — a three-day event marking the conclusion of Dreamable, a pre-accelerator programme designed for young people eager to take their first steps into the world of tech startups. This year, 284 young women and men from Moldova applied, and those selected had the opportunity to develop their ideas in an intensive environment of mentorship and hands-on learning.
