About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Startup Pitch & Networking Coach to support nine high-potential startups from the Eastern Partnership (EaP) region (Moldova, Ukraine, and Armenia) in preparation for VivaTech 2026 in Paris.
The selected expert will work closely with founders to refine their pitch, sharpen their networking strategy, and build tailored participation plans to maximize their impact during one of Europe’s leading tech events.
This is a short-term, high-impact assignment for a professional who thrives in dynamic, international startup environments and can deliver hands-on, personalized coaching.
What You Will Do
You will work individually with each startup to ensure they are fully prepared to succeed at VivaTech:
- Coach founders on pitch structure, storytelling, and delivery
- Prepare startups for investor expectations and Q&A sessions
- Help design tailored networking strategies
- Support startups in building customized VivaTech agendas, including meetings with investors, clients, partners, and ecosystem players
- Guide startups on how to navigate and leverage VivaTech opportunities (sessions, booths, side events, matchmaking)
- Design and analyze pre- and post-coaching self-assessments
- Track progress and provide individual feedback and reports
Expected Results
By the end of the assignment, each startup will:
- Deliver a clear, compelling, investor-ready pitch
- Have a personalized agenda of strategic meetings
- Be equipped with the tools and confidence to network effectively and build lasting connections
Deliverables
- Pre- and post-coaching self-assessment questionnaires
- Individual coaching sessions (for 9 startups)
- Customized VivaTech agendas for each startup
- Individual progress reports (up to 5 pages/startup)
- Final report (up to 15 pages) including insights, recommendations, and best practices
Timeline
- 25 May 2026 – Self-assessment tools delivered
- 14 June 2026 – Coaching sessions & startup agendas completed
- 30 June 2026 – Individual reports submitted
- 15 July 2026 – Final report delivered
Who We’re Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience in startup coaching, pitch training, or investor relations
- Strong understanding of international startup ecosystems and events (experience with VivaTech is a plus)
- Excellent facilitation, mentoring, and communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Experience working with Eastern Partnership countries is an asset
Project Context
This assignment is part of EU4Innovation East, a regional initiative supporting startup ecosystem development across Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.
The project focuses on:
- Expanding access to funding
- Strengthening incubation capacity
- Building regional and international connections
- Increasing visibility of EaP startups
Funded by the European Union and co-funded by the French Government, the project is implemented by Expertise France.
