Through EU4Innovation East, we are seeking an international expert to support the development of a robust and inclusive Open Finance framework in Armenia, while strengthening cooperation between Armenian and European fintech ecosystems.
The assignment will focus on:
• Assessing Armenia’s Open Finance ecosystem and identifying regulatory, technical and market gaps
• Supporting the design of an Open Finance regulatory and governance framework
• Advising fintech startups on regulatory compliance, APIs, market opportunities and Open Finance business models
• Facilitating knowledge exchange and study visits with European institutions and fintech ecosystems
• Building partnerships between Armenian and European financial regulators, fintech associations, innovation hubs and other stakeholders
• Developing an implementation roadmap for Armenia’s Open Finance framework
🔎 We are looking for an expert with:
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in open finance, open banking, financial regulation or financial data governance
• Strong knowledge of EU frameworks, including PSD2/PSD3, FIDA and GDPR
• Experience working with regulators, central banks and fintech startups
• A strong European fintech and financial regulation network
• Excellent English and strong analytical, advisory and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in Eastern Partnership or other emerging and transition economies is an advantage
