As part of the event, EU4Innovation East joined forces with two leading ecosystem actors in Armenia — FAST Foundation with Generation AI programme and Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises through the Armath Labs initiative — to deliver interactive activities focused on innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship.
The two booths offered visitors of all ages the opportunity to engage directly with Armenia’s growing innovation ecosystem through practical demonstrations, educational activities, and discussions around the future of technology. Throughout the day, students from Armath Labs showcased robotics and engineering projects developed within the programme’s nationwide network of STEM laboratories, highlighting how access to technology and technical education can empower young people, particularly in rural communities. The interactive demonstrations created a dynamic and engaging atmosphere, encouraging visitors to explore engineering concepts, creativity, and problem-solving in practice.

At the same time, FAST Foundation introduced visitors to its AI-focused educational initiatives aimed at preparing the next generation of innovators and technology leaders in Armenia. Through presentations and informational sessions, the organisation shared opportunities available through the Generation AI School Programme and AI Summer Camp, while students participating in the initiative presented selected AI-related projects developed as part of their studies. These activities provided insight into how artificial intelligence education is becoming increasingly accessible to young learners and contributing to the development of future-ready skills in Armenia.

The participation of EU4Innovation East and its partners reflected the broader objectives of the project to strengthen innovation ecosystems across the Eastern Partnership region, while increasing public awareness of the importance of digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and collaboration. By creating interactive and inclusive experiences during Europe Day, the initiative demonstrated how ecosystem partnerships can help connect young people with educational opportunities, inspire future entrepreneurs, and encourage interest in emerging technologies.

Through the strong engagement of visitors, students, educators, and ecosystem representatives, the Europe Day 2026 Info Fair in Yerevan became not only a celebration of European values and cooperation, but also a platform for showcasing Armenia’s growing innovation potential. The activities implemented by EU4Innovation East together with FAST Foundation and Armath Labs highlighted the important role that education, innovation, and community-driven initiatives play in building resilient and future-oriented societies.
